Posted Tuesday, November 08, 2005 by Web Master
If you are around Stepinac High School on a normal day it would be very hard not to run into one of our most important assets. His name is Patrick Massaroni. His Job- Student, player, Coach, role model, speaker, manager, information director & most importantly FRIEND. Pat could not continue playing football after a season ending injury last season. He still is a pitcher on our division championship baseball team. But Patrick very could easily had gone home every day at 2:45. But that is not what Patrick is all about. He likes to be involved. He watches tape, he organizes, he goes & scouts & films upcoming opponents. He has every high school score before game is even over. He is the ultimate Student Grad Asst coach for Football. During basketball Pat does everything for the team. The Freshman team asks where is coach Pat when they need something. In his spare time he can be seen working with youth of White Plains Coaching rec basketball & LL Baseball. He refs grade school basketball & umpires LL baseball. He does all this while being a model student at Stepinac. Patrick hopes to go to college, maybe play baseball or pusue a career in sports. Whether it's sports management or a sports information director or a coach we are sure what ever choice Patrick makes will be a good one. Maybe a sports agent !! Who knows? We would like to Thank Patrick for all he does to make our program a success. Congratulations to Patrick & his family on being named the Youth of the year in The City Of White Plains.
