TERENCE KEHAYAS NAMED SEMI-FINALIST FOR 2005 DRADDY TROPHY
Senior linebacker among 184 vying for award

Morristown, NJ - Iona College football player Terence Kehayas has been named one of 184 semi-finalists for the 2005 Draddy Trophy, the "Academic" Hesiman. The Draddy Trophy recognizes an individual as the best in the country for his combined academic success, football performance, and exemplary community leadership.
Candidates must be nominated by their schools, have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, have outstanding football ability as a first team player, and have demonstrated strong leadership and citizenship.
The award was established to honor former National Football Foundation Chairman Vincent dePaul Draddy, a former quarterback at Manhattan College. The winner will receive a 24-inch, 25-pound bronze trophy as well as a $25,000 post-graduate scholarship. Fifteen finalists will be announced on October 27.
