Almost all Freshman will tryout for our Freshman Football team

The freshman will report to stands outside of school on Monday August 22 nd at 8 am- They will be done at 12 noon on Monday.
Please have your son register on this site. Parents are encouraged to register as well. Please put all information. Cell Numbers - Carriers[ ATT, Verizon] , emails. addresses.

We have an older website we use as well. We ask for your son to register on this site as well. This site we send text messages from.
If there is a change in practice or weather emergency. If you register you will receive a text message. Please register & fill out all information - Please register as a Freshman / JV B Fall of 2016 -

On Monday all players should meet in stands behind school. Parents do not have to stay.
All players should have already sent into nurse the Medical packet. If not let me know.
The coaches will bring team into meet the nurse as a team to get participation cards. A participation card will only be given if medical packet has been handed in & athlete is cleared. If nurse does not give a card to athlete , he can not try out until he gets card from nurse. Athletes will then have a meeting, locker assignment. Then they will be put through a short workout.
Practice will end at 12 noon .
On Tuesday Thru Friday Practices will run from 8 am till about 4 pm. Players should bring everything they need to get through a double session. Shorts - T shirts, sneakers & cleats, change of clothes. Sun tan lotion. It is important to have a combination lock for football locker. All valuables need to be locked up. There is 170 football players, 80 soccer players, 20 track members all using same area for Locker room each day.
Hydration is very important for athletes safety. The water an athlete uses during a workout is put in body days before workout. An athlete should start two or three days before getting body ready for these workouts. All energy drinks dehydrate bodies, coffee, teas, red bull will cause body to need more water! To help us keep everyone safe we ask that parents make sure that all athletes show up to practices well fed & Hydrated. Normally the athletes that get dehydrated, didn't eat breakfast or drank iced Tea or soda the night before. An athletes body can lose gallons of water in a workout. They can honestly check their own hydration level by color of urine. If it is golden yellow color. they need to hydrate. if it is clear they are hydrated.
