What makes YOU Super 11? I’m Super 11 because I work hard and I want to win.
What has helped put you in position to succeed on the football field? My family has always been supportive of me on and off the field. Also, I couldn’t ask for better coaches. Coach (Mike) O’Donnell, Spags (Joe Spagnolo), (Jon) Demarco, (Terrance) Frazier, (Andy) Martinez, (Steve) Moroney and (Sheddrick) Wilson. They’ll do anything for you and have all helped me get better as a player and a person.
Name your best attribute as an athlete and describe why. I believe my best attribute is my toughness. I won’t back down from anybody. To go out there and play 110 percent is what I try to do every down.
Is there a current or former high school, college or pro athlete who you pattern your game after? I don’t base my game on any particular player. I just try to play my own game and help my team in any way I can.
So far, what play, game or moment has been the best of your career? My most memorable moment would definitely be after my team won the CHSFL AA championship against Kellenberg and we were presented with the championship trophy on the field. There was no better feeling than winning the championship game.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishments? My greatest accomplishments would have to be helping my team achieve a record of 12-0. Also, being third-team all-state, first-team all league, first-team MSG Varsity Hudson Valley, second-team Daily News all-boro, first-team Journal News all-star and Super 11.
What are your goals for the 2011 season…
As a player? My goals as a player for the 2011 season are to be the best player I can for my team and to help them on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
As a team? As a team, our goal is to win the AAA championship and to have another undefeated season.
