St. Anthony's will play for its eighth straight CHSFL AAA football title on Saturday after the second-seeded Friars overcame a slow start - they trailed 7-6 in the third quarter - to beat No. 6 Chaminade, 37-15. They'll face top-seeded Iona Prep in the championship game at Mitchel Field on Long Island.

"I guess we'll be the underdogs," said coach Rich Reichert, whose team lost to Iona Prep earlier in the season. "Our kids wanted to play them again, and all the pressure will be on Iona. I know the feeling of going into this game undefeated and knowing that if you lose this one game, no one will care about your record, just that you lost."

In the CHSFL AA, top-seeded Stepinac beat No. 4 Fordham Prep, 21-14 and will face No. 2 Holy Trinity for the title, while second-seeded Spellman and No. 1 Hayes are scheduled to meet for the CHSFL A championship, also on Saturday.
